Imageshop has 3 different user types:
Standard | A standard user only has access to the user interface (front end). They can view and download images and have access to features such as Projects, Compare and My Subscriptions. An administrator can decide which interfaces the user should have access to if you have multiple interfaces. An administrator can also grant standard users access to User Upload, Mobile Upload and Designer. |
Administrator | In addition to the features available to standard users, an administrator has access to Admin (back end), where they can upload images, add tags, delete images, edit categories, manage users, and more. Administrators can also change settings for the image database and configure various features. You can find dedicated articles for administrators here. |
Editor | The Editor role is used when the image database has User Upload (front-end upload) enabled and administrators want to delegate responsibility for approving images or allow certain users to upload images without requiring approval. Editors have the same features as standard users, but can also approve images uploaded by standard users. |
