Automatic translation of metadata and tagging

If you use multiple languages in Imageshop, you can easily translate the information entered during upload and tagging in the administration panel. This saves you a lot of manual work. The translation feature works on all free-text fields where you enter information for images, videos, and documents. Note: This is an add-on feature. If you wish to activate multiple languages in Imageshop, please contact us at support@imageshop.no.

How to use the automatic translation

  1. Upload the files you want to add to the image bank as usual.
  2. Fill in the metadata and tagging information (such as name, description, copyright, credit, and keywords) in your preferred language.
  3. Click on the «Translate to X» button (where X represents the language you have available). The system will now automatically translate your free-text fields.
  4. Review the generated texts, make any manual adjustments if necessary, and then click «Add» to complete the upload.
