In Imageshop, administrators can easily update the favicon used for the image bank. A favicon is the small icon displayed in the browser tab, bookmarks, and shortcuts. An updated favicon makes the image bank easier to recognize and helps create a more professional appearance.

How to change the favicon

  1. Log in to admin5.imageshop.no.
  2. Click your name in the top right corner and select «Configurations».
  3. Click «Logos and banners».
  4. Find the favicon section and click «Replace» below the current favicon.
  5. Upload the new favicon file.
  6. Click «Save changes» at the bottom of the page.

Publish the changes

The changes will not be visible to end users until the interface has been published.

  1. Go back to «Configurations».
  2. Click «Preview and publish».
  3. Publish the interfaces you want to update.

If the favicon should be updated for all interfaces, you must publish all interfaces.

Tips

  • Use a square icon for the best result.
  • A simple and clear favicon works best in small sizes.
