AI-generated alt-text

In Imageshop, you can have Artificial Intelligence generate alt-text for uploaded images. This function requires the AI module. For further information about this module, contact us at [email protected].

You can verify AI-generated alt text when editing a single image or from the admin front page.

Verify alt text when editing an image

You can verify AI-generated alt text by navigating to an image in admin and clicking on it.

1. In admin, find the image you want to edit and click on it. 
2. In the editing section to the left of the image you will find a text box with an AI-generated alt text. Below it is a button, labeled "Verify alt text".
   
   
3. If you're happy wit the alt text, click the button labeled "Verify alt text". When you've done this, the button will be replaced with a text showing who verified the alt text and when.  
4. If you wish to make changes to the alt text, you can do this by writing a new alt text in the text box. You then have to scroll down and click "Save". You can do this before or after you have verified the alt text. 

Verify alt text from the admin front page

You can also verify alt text on images from the admin front page. This is an efficient way to verify the alt text on multiple images. 

1. Click on "Display options" 
2. Choose "Edit"
   
   
3. Under each image you will find various information that you can edit. You can also click the button labeled "Verify alt text" to verify the alt text of an image.
   
   
4. After having varified the alt text of an image, a text will appear showing who verified it and when.
5. If you want to change the alt text after verifying it, you can still do this by writing a new alt text and clicking "Save".
