As an administrator, you can activate and manage privacy rules, consents, and terms of use directly in Imageshop.
Locating the privacy panel
- Log in to the administration panel at admin5.imageshop.no.
- Hover your mouse over «Privacy» in the top menu.
- Under the «Information» tab, you can read more about how the privacy module and consent collection function within the system.

Configuring the Privacy Policy
- Log in to the administration panel at admin5.imageshop.no.
- Hover your mouse over «Privacy» in the top menu, then click on the «Privacy Policy» tab.
- Review the standard draft suggested by us, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the text aligns with your company's own guidelines.
- If your image bank supports multiple languages, remember to update and edit the text for all language versions.
- We recommend sending a test of the privacy policy to yourself before publishing and enabling the consent requirement.
- When you click the «Save and ask for consent» button, a notification will be issued to all registered users stating that the privacy policy has been updated, and they will be prompted to provide new consent upon their next login.

Adding terms of use (Terms of use)
- Click your name in the top right corner to open the user menu, and select «Configuration».
- Navigate to the menu option «Terms of use».
- Review our standard proposal for the terms of use, and make any desired changes.
- Remember to update and quality assure the text across all available languages if your solution is multilingual. Read how to do it here!
- Click «Save» to store the terms.

Customizing the approval message (Pop-up)
When the consent requirement is active, users will encounter a pop-up message upon logging into the image bank. You may choose to retain the system's standard text or formulate your own message for your users.
- Return to «Privacy» in the main menu and select the «Notifications» tab.
- Carefully review the text proposal across all active languages, and make the modifications you desire.
- Click «Save».

Final activation and system settings
In order for pop-up messages, terms of use, and privacy policies to take effect for users in the image bank, the functionality must be enabled within the global settings:
- Click your name in the top right corner and select «Configuration».
- Click on the menu choice «Privacy».

- Define a start date from which the privacy rules should be activated.
- Select the desired system action and flow for how consent will be obtained from users.
- Set a fixed time limit for when inactive users should automatically be deleted from the system.
- Enable the preferred principles for processing consent, and specify how many months an issued consent remains valid before it must be renewed.
- Click «Save» to make the changes live.
