With the additional module «User Upload», standard users can upload images directly through the image bank's user interface, without needing access to the administration panel itself. Files uploaded by standard users will be submitted for approval by an administrator or editor.

Note: Front-end upload is an additional module. If your company wishes to receive more information about this module, please contact us at support@imageshop.no.

How to upload files

  1. Click on the «Upload» tab in the main menu at the top of the page in the frontend.

  1. Drag the files you want to upload directly into the marked area, or click the «Select files» button to retrieve them from your computer.

  1. Click on «Add». The images will now appear in an overview on the page.
  2. You can click «Select all» if you wish to apply the exact same metadata to all images, or you can select a specific batch of images to start with.
  3. Fill in the required information and keywords in the form on the left-hand side.

  1. Click the button labeled «Add to approval». The images will be sent for moderation and will become visible in the image bank as soon as an administrator or editor has approved them.
  2. If you have more files remaining in the queue that require different information, select those, fill out the form on the left again, and click «Add to approval» once more. Repeat this process until the list is empty.

For administrators and editors

If you are logged in as an editor or administrator, the images do not need approval – they are published directly. Before clicking «Upload», please remember to select which interfaces/image banks the files should be available in under the «Distribution» section.
