You can easily upload images directly from your mobile phone to Imageshop. If you would like to activate this additional module for your company, please contact us at support@imageshop.no.

Install mobile upload on your phone

Does your company use Entra ID / Active Directory?
If you log in using Entra ID or another Active Directory provider, you will receive a special web address (URL) from your administrator. Use this unique link instead of mobileupload.imageshop.org in the description below. The sign-in process will then take place securely via your company's login portal.

iPhone (Safari):

  1. Open the Safari browser and go to mobileupload.imageshop.org.
  2. Click on the «Share» icon (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom center of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select «Add to Home Screen».
  4. Click «Add» in the top right corner (you can change the name of the shortcut if you wish).
  5. The shortcut will now be added as a dedicated icon on your home screen, just like a regular app.

Android (Chrome):

  1. Open the Chrome browser and go to mobileupload.imageshop.org.
  2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. Select the option «Add to Home screen».
  4. Give the shortcut a desired name, and Chrome will place the shortcut icon along with your other apps.

Give users access to mobile upload (for administrators)

Before a user can utilize the mobile upload feature, an administrator must activate access in the administration panel:

  1. Log in to admin5.imageshop.no.
  2. Go to the main menu, click on «Edit» and select «Users».
  3. Click on the user you wish to grant access to.
  4. Scroll to the very bottom of the user profile until you find the checkboxes for app access.
  5. Check the boxes for the interfaces (image banks) this specific user should have the permission to upload files into. Note: Images will be published directly into the image bank without prior approval unless you also have the user upload module activated and a dedicated interface set up for moderation.
  6. Click on «Save».

How to upload files from your mobile phone

  1. Open the shortcut on your phone and log in with your usual Imageshop username and password.
  2. Tap the «Browse files» button.
  3. Choose whether you want to retrieve existing photos from your phone's gallery/photo library, or take a new photo directly with your camera.
  4. Once you have selected the files, you will land in an overview screen (pool) where you can see all the images prepared for upload.
  5. Tap on «Continue».
  6. You can now choose to either upload the images directly, or add metadata and tag the images with keywords first.
  7. Tap on «Upload» to complete the process.

Your images have now been transferred and securely saved in Imageshop.
