Add a new user in Imageshop

You can easily create new users in the administration.


  1. Go to admin - admin5.imageshop.no

  2. Click on "Edit"

  3.  Select "Users"


  4. Click “Add User new user”.

  5. Add Name, Company, Email and Initials.

  6. Under "Settings" you can choose which type of user it should be (see HERE for an explanation of these), of two-factor authentication should be used, if the user is a photographer, and which language should be the default.

  7. At the bottom, select which interface the user should have access to. Check for “approved” if the user is to have access. Click on “direct download” if the user is to be able to download an image directly in the front-end.

  8. Press "save" and the person will receive an e-mail where he / she can set a password, and will have access.


How to give access to upload via frontend

If you want a user to be able to upload files via frontend, the user needs access to be able to do this. You can give access like this:


  1. Go to admin - admin5.imageshop.no

  2. Click on "Edit"

  3.  Select "Users"

  4. Find the user you want to give access to and click "Edit"
  5. Under the heading "Access", active the interface called either "Til godkjenning", "Bilder til godkjenning", or "Upload". The user will then have access to uploading files via frontend.
