In the administration panel, you can easily upload a new version of an existing file in Imageshop. This is useful if you need to update a PowerPoint template, replace an image with an edited version, or upload an updated PDF document. When uploading a new version, all existing information, tags, and metadata are preserved. Only the original file itself is replaced. 

How to upload a new version

  1. Log in to admin5.imageshop.no.
  2. Search for and open the file you want to update.
  3. Go to the Format section.
  4. On the Original row, click “New version”.
  5. Select the file you want to upload from your computer.
  6. Confirm that you want to replace the existing original file.

Version history

Once the new file has been uploaded, the original file is automatically updated. You will also see an overview of previous versions under Versions, making it easy to track the file history.

Tips

  • Use “New version” when you want to update a file without losing tags or metadata.
  • All links and references to the file will continue to work after the update.
  • The version history makes it easy to keep track of previous file versions.
